EASILY the best beer selection in Aroostook County .. It's not even close!
The only reason why I didn't go with all five stars for this beer heaven is because of their limited hours. But hey, maybe they want to get out and have some beers after working all day, right? It seems a lot of things close early in this part of Maine, coming from a place of 24 hours for most things in Massachusetts. Definitely worth visiting and returning for more.
Taking back your returnables is very quick. If you have them counted, it's even quicker!
Awesome beer selection! For being such a small place, they have an incredible selection of BEER! The supermarkets in town just don't cut it -they just have the usual mass produced junk. Even in Bangor or Portland (over 100 miles south) it's hard to find good IPAs. NOT HERE! This place is known to the locals. Occasional beer tasting -call for their schedule. The prices are competitive, have bottle recycling, and the best part of all (if you are a homebrewer like me) they have BEER HOPS!!!
Spectacular, go there if you are visiting. Don't be fooled by it's corse exterior and location, this local hot spot is a fully fledged craft beer store. Friendly knowledgeable staff as well.
